In these Conditions:
The Customer: means the person whose order for the Goods and Services is accepted by the Supplier, or that person’s representative, and excludes minors or those lacking legal capacity to contract.
Commencement Date: means the date on which the first payment is received from the Customer.
The Contract: means the standard terms and conditions of sale set out in this document.
The Delivery Date: means the time and date by which the Goods are to be delivered, subject to reasonable extensions by the Supplier.
The Goods: means the rugs and related products which the Supplier is to supply to the Customer.
The Supplier: means 11 Rugs Gallery, Registration Number: 2022/756370/07, with its principal place of business at Unit 34 Deco Park, Northriding, Randburg, Johannesburg, 2162.
The Website: means www.11rugsgallery.co.za.
Offer and Acceptance: An order placed via the Website or other direct means constitutes an offer. The Contract is concluded only once the Supplier receives acceptable proof of payment.
Direct Initiative: This Contract is concluded at the initiative of the Customer and does not result from unsolicited direct marketing.
Errors: Any clerical or typing errors in quotations, price lists, or invoices may be corrected by the Supplier without liability.
Cancellation: The Supplier reserves the right to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund of monies already paid will be issued.
Visual Representation: Illustrations and photographs on the Website are intended as a guide. The Customer is entitled to rely only on the description of the specific Goods ordered.
Stock Availability: Volumes are limited. If a product is sold out but still displayed, the Supplier’s liability is limited to a refund of the purchase price.
Usage Disclaimer: The Supplier is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to the Customer’s property unless caused by the Supplier’s gross recklessness.
Rug Care: We recommend floor protection for rugs in high-traffic areas. Improper placement may negate product warranties.
Pricing: The price shall be as reflected on the Website at the date of the order. Prices include 15% VAT.
Delivery Fees: * Standard delivery is free for orders totalling R1,500.00 or more within South Africa.
Orders below this amount carry a flat rate delivery charge of R250.00.
Outlying areas may incur surcharges or delays; you will be notified before dispatch.
Payment Security: The time of payment is a material term. Transactions may be refused if fraud is suspected.
Lead Times: Orders are usually processed within 1 working day. Deliveries typically take 1 to 4 working days for major hubs (JHB, PTA, CPT, DBN) and up to 7 working days for regional areas.
Ownership: Ownership of Goods passes to the Customer only once full payment has been cleared.
In terms of Section 44 of the ECTA, you may cancel an order or return items within 7 days of receipt, provided items are in original packaging, unused, and in original condition.

A collection fee will apply.
Requests for returns or exchanges outside the cooling-off period but within 30 days will incur both a handling fee and a collection fee.
Items must be in original packaging.
Photos of the packaged item are required before collection is arranged.
Handmade rugs may be “Perfectly Imperfect” due to materials used or artisanal processes. However, if an item is genuinely faulty:

Items must be returned in original packaging for examination.
Normal wear and tear or damage from inadequate care is not covered.
Packaging: Keep plastic wrapping away from children to avoid suffocation or strangulation.
Slippage: Rugs should be used with an Anti-Slip underlay or secured properly to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces.
Fire Safety: Many rug materials are flammable; keep Goods away from open flames.
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions regularly.
Any dispute relating to these terms will be decided by arbitration at the offices of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA) in Johannesburg (or as otherwise agreed), unless urgent legal action is required.
